CMM WG I³ Pilot Project Concept Submission

Do you have an early-stage exploratory idea that would benefit from student time for review, scoping, and possibly initial experimental work, and has the potential to yield a 10-fold return in extramural funding? If so, complete and submit the form below for consideration. Submitting a concept is not a commitment to submit a full proposal. Concepts will be reviewed by CMM WG leadership to inform the I³ submission.

Submissions should include an abstract, a plain-language description, and brief responses addressing:

How the idea leverages existing expertise and connects UW–Madison researchers in new ways.
Why and how the project is high-risk/high-reward.
Its potential for funding scalability.
